This property, right in the heart of Manhattan, was formerly The Parker and became a Thompson hotel in 2019. It reopened in 2021 as Thompson Central Park. The elegant mid-century interiors were designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and the seating was manufactured by LEFA/IMA Hospitality.

An ode to New York City’s music history, and named for the late, great Charlie Parker, Parker’s at Thompson Central Park New York pays homage to the soundtrack of New York – from jazz, soul and blues to the modern hits of Broadway. Just steps from Carnegie Hall and blocks from Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the city’s former epicenter of jazz, 52nd Street, Parker’s is a contemporary expression of the city’s love for music.
The lounge features modern lighting inspired by horn instruments, omitting a soft, warm glow, and the walls are adorned with captivating portraits, candid stills and action shots by renowned music photographers. Thompson Central Park has partnered with The Jazz Foundation of America to bring live music, and uniquely crafted cocktails are named for favorite jazz songs performed by New York City artists.
