ABOUT US

A FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS

We are owners, actively engaged in the operations of our company. We have thorough knowledge of, and experience with, designs that mix wood, metal and glass. This knowledge was developed over many years, through best practices supplying high quality products to American furniture companies such as Henredon, Baker, Century, Hickory Chair, Thomasville, etc., and perfected over the last decades as we executed intricate designs for the hospitality industry. Colombia’s forests in the Andean, Amazonian and Panamanian regions give us access to an abundant variety of tree species. Timber felling operations adhere to strict environmental protection practices.

We complement our hardwoods with exotic veneers from South America and from around the world. Our in-house fancy face veneering and marquetry expertise, allows us to deliver the most exquisitely crafted furniture. We also have ready access to a wide array of local and imported laminate products.

PROTECTING THE FORESTS

The Colombian government issues permits that certify compliance with Colombian forestry laws – no trees can be felled without an environmental impact study which includes a reforestation plan equivalent to the number of trees logged. We only purchase lumber that is certified by the government.

Wood species are identified and controlled according to the U.S. Lacey Act. Any wood within the factory can be identified and traced back to its source. We do not use any wood or veneers that are endangered or scarce.
